I love Piyo...oh and turkey chili too!!

Hey everyone.  I have been slacking on my blog game...I lost my computer for a 2 week period, just got it back and I'm back in action!  So a lot has happened in the last few weeks...Jake and I went on the best trip of our life, to Cancun...for free!  I earned a trip with Beachbody...I will be collecting all of the pictures and I'll do my next post on that!  It was amazing.....more to come on that soon:)

I started a piyo group about 3 weeks ago.  Piyo is pilates and yoga at a faster pace...that's how I describe it anyway.  It is by far my favorite workout so far.  I love it so much I'm getting certified to teach it in July...so I'm practicing with the help of my amazing team and challengers doing it by my side!  I want to practice as much as possible so I'm on point!  Its a mix of strengthening, lengthening, and stretching!  SO you for sure sweat....a lot!  Its hard, but at the same time relaxing...and after you feel like you just walked out of a yoga class.  I have been doing it in my little office with no air on for a more "hot yoga" effect:)  I do believe it is my soul mate work out, and I just cant get enough!  Its addicting because you really get better each time...it makes you feel like a bad ass when you are done!!  The beginning is a little rocky....but if you push through and practice...just like with anything....you get good at it!  I'm not ready to teach it yet, that's for sure...but its so cool to see and feel progress!  My abs and arms are feeling amazing!  A big thanks to my accountability group for doing this with me!!

If you follow me, or have read my blog....you know that I love my crockpot!  This turkey chili is to die for...the recipe was given to me by my friend, and dietician Shonda!  Our kiddos love it too!

Turkey Chili:

Brown 1 pound ground turkey.
Put cooked meat into crockpot.  Add one can of black beans, 2 cans of kidney beans, 1 can diced tomatoes(make sure and drain all), 1 can tomato soup...I added corn too. 1/2 onion, diced.  2 T chili powder, 1/2 T garlic powder, 1/2 cumin, 1/2 t crushed red pepper, salt and pepper to taste, and a dash of all spice.  Cook on low for 6 hours, or high for 4.  I topped with a little cheese, avocado, onion, and greek yogurt.  So delicious, and so easy!  Enjoy!  Thanks for coming by!!
